This design is a representation of the medicines that can be found in the home of the Haliwa-Saponi people: the Meadows! This design includes Tutelo strawberry corn, tobacco, dogwoods, and tulips. The beaded frame represents how each individual person, like a bead, come together to showcase the beauty of our people as a whole.
